Oh, high school. [10 Dec 2009|04:15pm] o_n_i_o_n [ mood | pleased ] Oh hey, my high school was ranked #36 in the country! Ranking data taken from the 2007-2008 school year (08!). So... Swarthmore has taught me to ignore rankings because they're very superficial and don't speak to what kind of college experience you'll really have, but I can't help but feel proud about our school. And I also recognize that this ranking is almost purely based on academic achievement. And it's so obvious that our school is almost completely upper-middle-class Asian (78.9%?! Really?!). And it's not like this ranking will have any lasting effect on my life. BUT, I'm still proud! So there. :P shooT
